Over the 2017 Christmas Holiday, Paul Zotter called up friend and collaborator Dave DeWhitt and said, "Yo Dude! I have an idea for a Christmas Song!" By New Years Eve there was a demo and a rough sketch of what would become "It's Not Christmas." Throughout 2018, as the song was refined, an idea began to germinate to bring together longtime friends and musicians to give this tune the full treatment. The New Normals was born! The band is thrilled to have their first single included on the Hometown Heroes Holiday Album!
